This NXT Star Viewed As A Future WWE Champion

This talent has been impressing many behind the scenes in NXT.

Oba Femi

Having already made quite the impression on the NXT fanbase, it seems Oba Femi is likewise impressing those behind the scenes in WWE's developmental brand.

Via Fightful Select, NXT officials have been extremely impressed by Femi since he became NXT North American Champion at the turn of the year. So much so, the powerhouse is already viewed as a future WWE Champion.

This report also notes that those within NXT have been somewhat surprised by just how well Oba has developed in such a short space of time, with one particular phrase used to describe the Nigerian being the "total package". But despite the surge in popularity for Oba Femi, don't expect him to be fast-tracked to the main roster, for he's viewed as having plenty of "untapped potential" that will seemingly be honed in NXT rather than pushing him to Raw or SmackDown before the big man's ready.

At just 25 years of age and with only 30 matches under his belt, there's clearly no need to rush Oba Femi. Still, all being well, it looks as if there's certainly a big future ahead for the real-life Isaac Odugbesan.
