Could forming a tag team with WWE veteran Jeff Hardy prove the tonic one of the company’s most under-utilised wrestlers needs to move up the card?

Ricochet certainly seems to think so, having tweeted the following on Thursday night:-

Hardy, an infrequent social media user, is yet to respond.

Ricochet and Hardy actually teamed with each other earlier this week, though you can be forgiven for missing the bout, given that it went down on Main Event. The high-flying duo were defeated by Jaxson Ryker and Elias on the 28 January episode. Not exactly the kind of start they’d want to make ahead of a title charge, though there’s every chance ‘The One and Only’ was just messing around on Twitter.

The Hurt Business’ Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin are the current Raw Tag Team Champions, having taken the belts from The New Day in December. Ricochet has had issues with MVP’s stable on the past, giving him plenty of history to work with, and recent tensions in the ranks could create a fresh take on a feud that had admittedly grown stale long before its expiration.

Ricochet and Alexander briefly teamed in 2020 prior to Cedric’s Hurt Business turn, dubbing themselves 2 Fly Crew.
