Kay Lee Ray is currently in the United States, reports PWInsider's Mike Johnson.
The NXT UK standout was spotted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida this week, though there is currently no word on whether or not she will be appearing on NXT television while there.
Ray, 28, has been a WWE full-timer since 2019, though her appearances with the promotion go all the way back to October 2015, when she appeared as an NXT jobber for Nia Jax. Her signing with WWE followed a run on the ill-fated World of Sport revival on ITV in the United Kingdom, which also featured other future NXT UK stars in Viper (now Doudrop) and Bea Priestley (Blair Davenport).
KLR quickly rose to prominence after debuting on NXT UK, taking the brand's Women's Championship from Toni Storm at TakeOver: Cardiff in August 2019. This came just five months after her arrival on the show. A lengthy reign followed, with Ray holding the strap for 649 days before dropping it to Meiko Satomura in June.
The Scot last competed on the main NXT brand in January 2020, when she teamed with Bianca Belair and Io Shirai in a loss to Rhea Ripley, Toni Storm, and Candice LeRae.
