This Top WWE Star Has NEVER Had A Cage Match (But Wants One!)
One of Raw's best heels says finally working a cage match is on their WWE bucket list.
Trish Stratus thinks it's high time she was booked to work a cage match in WWE, and she means any kind of cage bout.
The legend, who is currently enjoying quite the career renaissance on Raw, told TVA Sports that she's never had the chance to step foot in a cage - that includes both Hell In A Cell and the ominous Elimination Chamber structure.
Women working such dangerous gimmick matches just wasn't the done thing during her prime years between 2000-2006, so it was never going to happen. That's something Stratus wants to put right now she's back and loving life as a reborn heel.
Showing her spirit for the biz, Trish recalled "everyone freaking out" when she was hit with a steel chair shot years ago. People backstage fawned all over her, but Stratus was having none of it. She's always been somebody who wanted to tear down barriers for women in pro wrestling, which the legend is rightly proud of.
Now, Trish fancies finding out what all the cage-related fuss is about. Was that a tease for a future cage match vs. Becky Lynch? It might be.
