This WWE Legend Begged Vince McMahon Not To Change His Entrance Music

Vince McMahon briefly changed this WWE star's classic music, and they weren't happy.

Booker T loves his original WCW entrance theme.

The former World Champ openly discussed just how much he adores that track on his 'Hall Of Fame' podcast recently. According to Booker, he was devastated when Vince McMahon tried to switch up his presentation in WWE and debut a new tune during his in-ring prime.

This is also something that Conrad Thompson and Eric Bischoff spoke about on the latest episode of their '83 Weeks' show; Bischoff wasn't surprised that Booker was so fond of his old Harlem Heat song, pointing out that it had been such a huge part of his career.

That's why Booker adores it. He believes that fans feel the same way, and that nobody wants to see him march down the ramp to any other song.

McMahon was slightly taken aback by the ferocity of Booker's pleas. He told the wrestler to hang on for a little while longer, then promised that WWE would bring back the classic theme ASAP. Booker was satisfied with that, but told Vince that he couldn't "go through [his] career with any other music".

The company had previously purchased the rights to the song when acquiring WCW in 2001.
