Rhea Ripley leapt to Charlotte Flair's defence during an interview with The Daily Star.

The reigning Raw Women's Champion said that her on-screen rival "is absolutely incredible with what she does", and "holds herself together very well" in the face of online criticism from fans who criticise her WWE push.

Ripley also said that she "looks up to" Flair, and has learned a lot from her both in-ring and behind the scenes - Rhea admires the way Charlotte holds her head up high and shows confidence despite being torn down daily by Twitter trolls.

The Raw babyface admits most WWE stars get some abuse, but she especially dislikes "body-shaming and stuff like that". Ripley has no time for fans who jump onto social media and target a performer's looks to get attention.

Fans are split on Rhea's ongoing feud with Charlotte. Some believe WWE can still pull the nose up on it, whereas others are already dreading the prospect of Flair bagging the belt this Sunday at Money In The Bank.

That, critics argue, would totally derail Ripley right now. The woman herself isn't too bothered, and says she "loves being in the ring" with Charlotte regardless of the outcome.
