THIS WWE Star Pitched A Heel Turn On The Company Itself

One WWE SmackDown man fancies ripping on the promotion itself, but not the fans.

Jeff Hardy has revealed that he recently pitched a heel turn on WWE.

The 44-year old veteran told Sport Bible that he's been toying with the thought of going rogue against the company itself. Jeff says he wouldn't necessarily heel on fans during this run through - instead, he'd try to rally support behind him and ask them if they agree he's "really being mistreated" by management.

This quirky twist on the traditional heel formula would include Hardy wondering aloud whether he should leave WWE behind for pastures new or stay and fight his corner. He didn't discuss whether or not Vince McMahon (or any other creative force behind the scenes) liked the idea.

Jeff loves it though. He said he just "feels like there’s something to be unleashed inside me that wants to get out and rage to a certain extent". Turning against the WWE machine would certainly be an interesting approach, and a wacky way for Hardy to heel it up.

Do you like Jeff's unique idea? Or, would you rather see him continue as an out-and-out legendary babyface on SmackDown going forwards?
