Thunder Rosa may not be cleared to wrestle yet despite returning to AEW Dynamite this Tuesday night.

Rosa, who has been out of action since August 2022, made her AEW comeback in a brief backstage segment with Renee Paquette. Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the former AEW Women's World Champion's back injury is still "really bad." Although Rosa has been at AEW's weekly tapings and training in the ring, she is "hurting a lot" - and her back isn't better yet, per the report.

Meltzer was not of the impression that Thunder Rosa was "ready to return so quickly."

The long-absent Miro also returned on this week's Dynamite, doing so in a similar backstage segment that, like Rosa, saw him walk into AEW founder Tony Khan's office. It is expected that both competitors are being brought back for AEW Collision's seemingly imminent launch, which is set for mid-June.

Thunder Rosa relinquished her AEW Women's World Championship in late August, doing so as her injuries prevented her from defending the strap. An Interim belt was introduced during her absence, which later became the lineal Women's World Title following Jamie Hayter's win over Toni Storm.
