Since the announcement from WWE that ThunderDome was to be ‘a thing’ for the foreseeable future, WWE fans have been rushing to secure their spot for virtual attendance at this Sunday’s SummerSlam PPV.

In amongst the outright bonkers intrigue surrounding the ThunderDome, WWE has now moved to confirm that capacity has already been reached for the virtual insanity (shout-out to Jamiroquai) that is this Sunday’s SummerSlam PPV.

If you were hoping to make a virtual appearance at SummerSlam, that is now off the table but it’s expected that at some point over this weekend fans will be able to register to appear as part of the virtual crowd for this Monday’s episode of Raw.

Of course, the whole ThunderDome concept will debut on tonight’s episode of SmackDown, and the availability for fans to virtually appear on this week’s outing for WWE’s blue brand was reportedly filled within minutes of opening.

With ThunderDome, WWE is promising a completely unique and interactive service for fans, with large video screens, lasers, pyro, and drone cameras just a few things to expect from the ThunderDome environment.
