Lana is out of WWE TLC 2020.

A kayfabe injury suffered following an attack from rivals Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax on last night's raw has rendered the former 'Ravishing Russian' unable to compete at the pay-per-view, which goes down this Sunday night (20 December). Lana was supposed to team with Asuka to face Baszler and Jax for the Women's Tag Team Championships.

WWE will now name a replacement competitor, having announced that Lana was examined at a hospital following Jax and Baszler's in-ring ambush. The company described "devastating injuries to her elbow and leg."

Raw gave the impression that one of Dana Brooke or Mandy Rose will take Lana's place. Nothing is confirmed yet, of course, but the duo helped Asuka clear Jax and Baszler out of the ring when a one-on-one between Brooke and Shayna ended in a disqualification following Nia's interference. An announcement will likely come later in the week.

Lana had defeated Jax earlier in the evening, knocking her off the top rope before scoring the three-count in under two minutes. This prompted the Baszler/Jax attack angle.

The events described above were the only real TLC developments on an otherwise drab Raw show.
