It'll be Title vs. Title at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam.

Eddie Kingston Claudio Castagnoli
ROH

With AEW's annual Grand Slam on the impending horizon, the Grand Slam edition of Dynamite will see a Title vs. Title match between Claudio Castagnoli and Eddie Kingston.

Last night's AEW Collision saw a sit-down interview between Claudio and Kingston, with the Mad King laying down the challenge for Castagnoli's ROH World Championship. A match that will take place on the 20 September Grand Slam Dynamite, Eddie also said he'll be putting his NJPW Strong Openweight Title on the line in this contest, too.

Of course, the history between Castagnoli and Kingston dates back decades, and the two last went one-on-one at ROH Supercard of Honor back in March, where the Blackpool Combat Club man successfully defended the ROH Title against his long-time rival.

Taking place from Queens, New York's Arthur Ashe Stadium, this year's AEW Dynamite Grand Slam will also see Chris Jericho vs. Sammy Guevara, MJF will defend his AEW World Championship against the winner of Samoa Joe vs. Roderick Strong, and Saraya will defend her AEW Women's World Title against the winner of Toni Storm vs. Britt Baker vs. Hikaru Shida vs. Nyla Rose..
