TJP Unable To Wrestle At IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary 2021
Slammiversary's tag team titles match will still be a four-team clash.
IMPACT Wrestling has confirmed that former X Division Champion TJP will no longer be able to compete at their Slammiversary pay-per-view tonight for an undisclosed reason. Posting on their Twitter and website, IMPACT stated the following:-
"TJP is unable to participate in tomorrow’s IMPACT Wrestling pay-per-view event, Slammiversary. The former two-time X-Division champion was scheduled to team with Fallah Bahh in the huge four-way collision for the IMPACT Tag Team Championship vs The Good Brothers, Rich Swann & Willie Mack and reigning title-holders Violent By Design. The match-up will still go ahead as a four-way attraction."
The former Manik had been due to team with Fallah Bahh in a four-way contest for the World Tag Team Championships. Rich Swann and Willie Mack, the Good Brothers, and defending champions Joe Doering and Rhino of Violent By Design are the other three teams in the clash. The match is, however, still going ahead as a four-way contest.
Intriguingly, it's not been confirmed whether or not Fallah Bahh will go it alone, will have a new partner, or if he and TJP will be replaced by an entirely different team. KM, Fallah's old partner, even tweeted, teasing his return to action after being inactive from in-ring activity since December 2019.
Slammiversary already has two other surprises guaranteed. Deonna Purrazzo will defend the Knockouts Championship against a challenger of Scott D'Amore and Gail Kim's choosing, while Matt Cardona will pick a partner to face Brian Myers and Tenille Dashwood.
Names such as Kalisto, Wesley Blake, the IIconics, Chelsea Green, and Mickie James have all been teased for Slammiversary, for what it's worth.
