TNA Slammiversary 2016: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best

1. X-Division Title Fatal 4 Way: Trevor Lee (c) Vs. Andrew Everett Vs. Eddie Edwards Vs. DJZ

Result: Edwards rolls up Lee to win the title (10:12).

Rating: That's right, the opener stole the show! The battle lines were pretty clearly drawn here from the outset, so it felt more like a tag match than a fatal-4-way a lot of the time.

Still, it was a thrilling bout from bell to bell. Trevor Lee continued to prove why he's one of TNA's most exciting talents with some terrific high-flying work, and all four men worked well together even if it mostly followed the Fatal 4 Way formula of two guys wrestling at any one time.

The closing minutes were absolutely killer, full of near-falls and brutal reversals, and Edwards' win was a genuine surprise, if not a particularly exciting finish. A rock solid opener and it could've gone much longer without any complaints. Plus, could we see The Wolves warring for the X-Division Title in the near-future? 7/10
