It seems that Tommaso Ciampa is no longer as averse to moving from WWE NXT to Raw or SmackDown as he once was.

Speaking to Inside the Ropes, the former NXT Champion claimed that if the promotion offered him a limited schedule and a situation that would help protect the longevity of a career, "anything's possible."

Ciampa had previously stated that he wasn't interested in a main roster call-up because of the gruelling toll the road schedule would take on his surgically-repaired body. 'The Blackheart' underwent a major neck procedure a year and a half ago, and while he says everything feels fine at the moment, he probably wouldn't be able to endure a full 250-date calendar.

The interview also saw Ciampa state that travelling was also a factor, as he finds it extremely difficult to warm up and warm down on a car, bus, or aeroplane.

Ciampa is booked to face Karrion Kross at NXT TakeOver: In Your House this Sunday evening. He was previously moved to WWE's main roster alongside Johnny Gargano, Aleister Black, and Ricochet in February 2019, though this short run ended when it was revealed he needed the major neck surgery.
