Tony Khan Explains Why Hulk Hogan Is Banned From AEW

It has nothing to do with his ex-wife's controversial tweet...

Tony Khan

The Wrestling Observer revealed exactly why Hulk Hogan isn't welcome in AEW.

According to Dave Meltzer, AEW chief Tony Khan has been telling people within the company "since day one" that Hogan would never have a place in All Elite. What's more, Khan's feeling have nothing to do with his recent criticism of a controversial tweet (one that has since been deleted) posted by Hogan's ex-wife Linda.

Instead, Tony is outraged at comments Hulk previously made. The Observer included a quote from Khan about the chances of AEW ever inking a deal with Hogan.

"What he said on the tape, long before George Floyd - I’ve told people I can’t work with Hulk Hogan. How can I look my black friends, football players and employees in the face, or myself in the mirror, after the things he said and has never given an adequate apology for. He can’t blame what he said on tape on the dangers of social media".

Of course, Hogan has never expressed any interest in working for AEW. If he ever fancies it though, it appears his chances are seriously limited.
