While today saw the huge AEW news that Paul ‘Big Show’ Wight has signed with the company and a new Monday night YouTube show is on the way in the shape of AEW Dark: Elevation, many have wondered what the status is of the previously planned second weekly AEW TNT show.

WrestlingInc’s Raj Giri took to Twitter to suggest that the announcement of AEW Dark: Elevation could well mean that this second TNT offering is no longer happening - but Tony Khan was quick to respond and reiterate that, yes, said second weekly TNT show is still in the works for later this year.

As and when this second TNT broadcast becomes a reality, it will certainly be interesting to see what night the show airs on.

Moving forward, AEW will have AEW Dark: Elevation on a Monday, AEW Dark on a Tuesday and AEW Dynamite on a Wednesday. Could this new TNT show air on a Monday or Tuesday after those YouTube shows - possibly putting it up against WWE Raw on a Monday - could Thursday be a more logical fit, or could we even see this new TNT show going head-to-head with SmackDown on a Friday night?
