Tony Khan hosted a lengthy media scrum following AEW's Revolution pay-per-view on Sunday night, and the company chief had several interesting things to say about that show, Wednesday's episode of Dynamite, the signing of Christian Cage, Paul Wight's future with the company and more.

He also revealed that fans will see women headline an episode of Dynamite "very soon".

Tony wouldn't be drawn into leaking concrete details, but he did say that people should expect a female headliner "in the next several weeks" - Khan added that there's a "good chance" of that happening imminently.

This will come as welcome news to anyone who enjoyed the well-received Hikaru Shida vs. Ryo Mizunami title bout at Revolution. AEW hasn't always done the best job of presenting or building their women's division, but that match was a step in the right direction.

Now, a certain Mr. Khan is hungry for more.

He wants to give the hard-working women on AEW's roster a bigger platform than ever before. Nobody will have a problem with that provided the story is good going in and the match (like Shida vs. Mizunami) delivers bell-to-bell.
