Cody Rhodes will don a mask to join forces with Fuego Del Sol at this Sunday's AEW Dark tapings in Orlando, Florida's Universal Studios.

Fuego announced the debut of Too Fast, Too Fuego in the latest edition of Sammy Guevara's vlog, having built it up throughout the day. The graphic at the top of this page has since been produced.

It doesn't take much effort to figure out that Rhodes is the second man here, given his facial structure and prominent "Dream" tattoo. Nonetheless, the AEW EVP is working the gimmick on social media:-

This will be the first time that Rhodes and Fuego have ever shared a ring. The Too Fast, Too Fuego debut comes during a busy week for Cody, with the inaugural TNT Champion also set to face rival Malakai Black for the third time on this Saturday's preempted episode of AEW Dynamite.

Fuego, meanwhile, has been signed to AEW since president Tony Khan and Guevara ceremonially presented him with a contract on Rampage's 13 August episode, having built a sizeable cult following as a Dark and Dark: Elevation regular since debuting in May 2020.
