Darby Allin was injured during last night's AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view, it appears.

The former TNT Champion was wearing a sling when he showed up for the post-show media scrum. Allin commented that after he had wrapped his press obligations, he would be getting X-rays to gauge how bad the issue is.

At the time of writing, there was no further word on the extent of Darby's injury.

Allin wrestled Christian Cage in a bruising WrestleDream main event featuring a number of hard bumps. Amongst other spots, Darby was strewn across the exposed ring boards and a set of steel steps several times, absorbing the impact. Where the injury occurred is currently unknown, however.

WrestleDream's main event saw Allin defeated by Cage in their two-out-of-three falls match. Though Darby scored the first fall, he lost the second via countout following one of the aforementioned bumps. Later, Allin's protégé, Nick Wayne, turned heel on him, allowing Cage to score the victory and retain the TNT Championship.

Allin was then involved in the post-match segment, which saw Adam Copeland, the former Edge, debut to save him and Sting from Cage, Wayne, and Luchasaurus.
