One of IMPACT Wrestling's top names is to depart within WEEKS.

Deonna Purrazzo intends to explore free agency when her IMPACT Wrestling contract expires in early 2024, reports Fightful Select.

The outlet notes that Purrazzo, who has been amongst IMPACT's top starts for several years, is yet to sign a new deal with the Anthem-helmed promotion. Now, she plans on entering the free agent's pool.

Sources within IMPACT had once believed that Purrazzo was going to stay with the company. IMPACT is to rebrand as TNA in January, and promotional graphics featuring Deonna on new TNA promotional materials have emerged. Despite this, Purrazzo's last dates for the group are set to be this coming week's Final Resolution tapings in Canada.

Purrazzo's relationship with IMPACT remains amicable. Should she wish to return to the company, the door shall remain open, though she is intent on exploring her options.

Purrazzo, 29, has been with IMPACT Wrestling since her WWE release in 2020. She has been amongst the promotion's most strongly pushed wrestlers since then, honing her 'Virtuosa' gimmick and becoming a three-time Knockouts Champion in the process. Having previously appeared for many of the world's biggest promotions, she will likely be a hot free-agent commodity.
