Two of NXT 2.0's biggest and baddest will be in the house for WWE Royal Rumble 2022 this Saturday (29 January).

PWInsider's Mike Johnson reports that Bron Breakker and Gunther will be in St. Louis, Missouri for the event. While there's currently no word that the developmental standouts will be in the men's Rumble match, they'll be at the arena - and theoretically good to go should WWE opt to throw them into the over-the-top-rope battle royal.

Breakker currently sits at the top of the NXT 2.0 mountain, having defeated Tommaso Ciampa to become NXT Champion at the New Year's Evil special on 4 January. Gunther, meanwhile, has just gone full-time in the United States for the first time, with the former WALTER subjected to a controversial name change on last week's episode of the show. Fortunately, it now looks like WWE has abandoned plans to give him the complete ring name of a former Nazi U-boat commander.

WWE had confirmed 15 of 30 participants in the men's Royal Rumble at the time of writing, leaving 15 free.

Damian Priest was the sole male NXT representative at Royal Rumble 2021. Six developmental talents ended up appearing in the women's match, however.
