BodySlam+ is reporting that bosses at NXT plan to strap a rocket to rising star Keanu Carver imminently. That's why he's been feuding with Joe Hendry on the third brand lately - Hendry dropped his NXT Title to Tony D'Angelo during NXT's Stand & Deliver show on 4 April.

That was a blockbuster moment for D'Angelo, but it'll be interesting to see just how long he holds the gold. It appears that Shawn Michaels and gang have high, high hopes for Carver, so it might be him holding the belt sooner rather than later. Only time will tell on that though.

Keanu only moved over from the Evolve roster in January, but he's been turning heads as a powerhouse in WWE developmental. It's easy to see what NXT chiefs like about the guy. He's a real powerhouse, and the brand sorely needs someone to fill that spot after losing Oba Femi.

Carver and Hendry will wrestle one on one soon. That match announcement comes in the wake of Keanu interrupting one of Joe's concerts and almost ripping his head clean off. Now, the Scot will need to bring some intensity of his own to make this match worthwhile.

BodySlam's sources clearly believe that HBK sees dollar signs in Keanu. So, don't be too surprised if he's up there challenging Tony for the NXT Title over the next couple of months. It's practically nailed on that he'll become a focal point on the third show.
