Top TNA Star Discussed For WWE NXT Crossover

This former World Champion has been discussed for the TNA/NXT crossover.

Josh Alexander

With Joe Hendry and The Rascalz having notable roles to play on last night's NXT, one other TNA star who could appear in NXT is Josh Alexander.

As per Fightful Select, the Walking Weapon is someone who's been discussed as being a part of the TNA/NXT crossover, with there even some talk that the two-time TNA World Champion could appear as soon as last night's NXT broadcast. Obviously, that didn't come to pass, but that doesn't mean the hugely talented Canadian won't turn up at some point in the future.

In terms of what role Josh Alexander could have to play in NXT, there are certainly several possibilities. First and foremost, Oba Femi is due to defend his North American Title against a mystery opponent next week. There's also the fact that Alexander spent the best part of ten years teaming with NXT Champion Ethan Page as part of the Monster Mafia/The North. Given Josh Alexander's heel turn at TNA Slammiversary last month, could he possibly align with his old running buddy?

Of course, it's not a given Alexander will pop up in NXT, but if he does, the NXT audience will get to see one of the very best wrestlers on the planet.
