WWE announced an injury to rising star Solo Sikoa on last night's NXT 2.0 show, with the up-and-comer set to miss around a month of action.

NXT 2.0 featured a segment starring Sikoa with a medic. Solo was told that he had suffered a sprained PCL that would keep him out of around for somewhere between four and six weeks, which didn't sit well with Sikoa, who was approached by a down-in-the-dumps Cameron Grimes immediately afterwards.

Sikoa faced rival Von Wagner in a Falls Count Anywhere match on last week's NXT 2.0, felling the bigger man in a well-received main event. The 29-year-old is currently approaching his first full year as a contracted WWE wrestler, having been introduced as part of a class of Performance Center recruits in late August 2021, debuting on television just three months later.

Regarded as one of NXT 2.0's brightest prospects, Sikoa is part of the legendary Anoa'i wrestling dynasty - and is the brother of longstanding WWE stars Jimmy and Jey Uso.

That familial link, coupled with Sikoa being one of the most advanced wrestlers on the green NXT 2.0 roster, creates regular speculation on a main roster call-up for the former North American Title contender.
