Top WWE Star Legitimately Injured At WrestleMania 38?

Bad news: one of WWE's biggest and baddest may have been hurt at WrestleMania 38.

WWE's new Undisputed Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, may have been legitimately injured while wrestling Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38.

Reigns emerged from the duo's 'Winner Take All' night two main event victorious, felling Brock to take the "Undisputed" tag after countering out of an F5 and hitting a spear for the three-count. That the finish felt abrupt may be the product of a rushed finish forced by injury.

As pointed out by WrestlingNews.co's Paul Davis, Reigns said that something "is out" to manager Paul Heyman towards the end of the Lesnar match. The photos below show that at one point, Reigns had a big, discoloured area of swelling flesh on his left arm:-

It should be stressed that this is purely speculation at the moment. Confirmation that Reigns was hurt at 'Mania had not arrived at the time of writing. Nonetheless, any injury would be a serious blow to both Roman and WWE, given the stock the promotion has invested in him since turning heel and becoming Universal Champion in August 2020.

While fallout from Lesnar vs. Reigns should be expected on tonight's post-WrestleMania 38 Raw, WWE is yet to announce anything.
