With this past Friday seeing Vince McMahon shockingly announce his retirement from WWE, there's now further details on the general mood of the company's roster.

As per Fightful Select, multiple top stars were left feeling dejected by this news. A major factor in this is how the McMahon news came completely out of nowhere, with these names "off-put" by how a talent meeting at Money in the Bank earlier this month saw it repeatedly reiterated that Vince McMahon would not be going anywhere under any circumstances.

In a case of 'plans change, pal', McMahon reportedly decided a week or so ago that he was going to permanently step away from all WWE duties.

As alluded to, it appears to be a very mixed reaction to Vince's big announcement, with some seeing it as a positive, others seeing it as a negative, and certain names feeling McMahon's retirement won't last.

Of course, Vince McMahon's retirement comes just over a month after the WWE Board of Directors began an investigation into a series of non-disclosure agreements between McMahon and former employees. That investigation is still ongoing, with the Wall Street Journal - who originally broke the news of such agreements - recently confirming that they also now have new information on further NDAs.
