Top WWE Tag Team "On The Fence" About Splitting Up
WWE may have singles plans for this Raw tag team, BUT...
Alpha Academy members Otis and Chad Gable are reportedly "on the fence" regarding the prospect of their WWE tag team splitting up, due to their close real-life friendship.
WRKD Wrestling states that WWE has conducted internal discussions on presenting Gable as a serious singles wrestler, with Otis moving into a comedy role as part of the Maximum Male Models stable. This is in-line with recent teases on Raw.
Gable and Otis might not necessarily be on board with this themselves, however. Their relationship is described as a "long time, close friendship."

Ahead of Monday's well-received singles match between Gable and Cody Rhodes, WRKD reported that Cody was hoping for a "big showing" from Gable, whom he wanted to bring to AEW amid speculation over his future in 2021.

Raw saw Chad defeated in around 10 minutes by Cody, who has an impending WrestleMania 39 date with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns on the docket. Later, Otis fell to Johnny Gargano one-on-one, with Maxxine Dupri and the rest of Maximum Male Models at ringside. WWE has been teasing Otis jumping over to the faction heavily on recent episodes of Raw.
