Triple H Becomes WWE Executive Vice President of Talent Relations

Triple H has replaced John Laurinaitis as the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations on WWE's corporate website, making it official that HHH (listed under his real name Paul Levesque) has taken over his duties. The change had actually been made some time ago and Laurinaitis had been working under Triple H for a while as HHH hired Jane Geddes as the new Vice President of Talent Relations (who has taken on making of the duties Laurinaitis had been doing), and Canyon Cemen as the head of Talent Development. Both Geddes and Cemen now report directly to Triple H according to Wrestling Observer Newsletter. As Laurinaitis had become a regular on-air character, he has had many of his back office duties greatly reduced. The expectation now is that Laurinaitis' job will be changed further as Triple H stamps his authority in his new role and puts his own people in key positions. As of right now Johnny Ace is still booking the WWE live events but the creative writing team are more involved in that than ever as WWE attempts to make its live house shows feel more like a TV Show. Laurinaitis is also handling the payroll but is spending more time on the road as on-air talent. Though whether Laurinaitis continues as on on-air character if he is indeed "fired" by Vince McMahon on Sunday's WWE No Way Out pay-per-view if Big Show loses to John Cena is currently unknown.
