'The King Of The Cruisetweights' remains in limbo, but for how long?

Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville hasn't been seen since walking out of the company last October, and unfortunately, that doesn't look like changing anytime soon.

Triple H was asked about the Englishman's status during yesterday's NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 4 media call (h/t: WrestlingInc.com), stating that he "isn't 100% positive" on what's going on with Neville, and that he'd "need to go back and look into that."

Despite this, 'The Game' agreed with a caller's suggestion that he'd be a great fit for the upcoming NXT UK brand. He then went on to praise the former Cruiserweight Champion's work, calling him "one of the most talented guys in the world," then admitting that "time will see where he ends up."

Neville's walkout reportedly came as a result of long-held creative frustrations. His last major update came in January 2018, when Fightful reported that the company had frozen his contract, and would keep his career under wraps until a compromise could be reached. This is yet to happen.

As Triple H's words were typically guarded and offered no tangible solution to Neville's problems, it's probably safe to say he'll remain in limbo for the foreseeable future.
