Two Huge Title Matches Announced On Last Night's WWE SmackDown
Which stars will battle for belts on next week's WWE SmackDown and Fastlane shows?
Two monumental upcoming title matches were announced on last night's WWE Friday Night SmackDown on FOX.
With SmackDown Women's Champion Sasha Banks and her WrestleMania 37 opponent Bianca Belair set to take on Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for the Women's Tag Team Championships at Fastlane, the former pair locked horns with Tamina and Natalya on this week's show. However, Banks found herself being distracted by the increasingly irritating presence of Reginald at ringside, leading to Belair being rolled up by Tamina for the win.
Banks will now defend her belt against Jax on next week's blue show.
Elsewhere, Intercontinental Champion Big E returned to action, successfully defending his belt against Sami Zayn in an impromptu match last night. Yet, soon after Big E had overcome the former IC Champion, Apollo Crews would arrive on the scene, again attacking the current belt holder with steel steps and leaving him in a heap at ringside.
It seems Crews has finally gotten his wish in the wake of this brutality, officially landing himself an IC title match at Fastlane against his bitter rival.
With Fastlane just over a week away, what other contests will be added to a card also including Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan fighting over the Universal Championship?
