WWE announced two new matches for the upcoming Extreme Rules: The Horror Show pay-per-view on this week's SmackDown.

Nikki Cross won a Fatal-4-Way bout over partner Alexa Bliss, Dana Brooke and Lacey Evans (whom she pinned) and will now challenge Bayley for the SmackDown Women's Title. Bayley's own partner Sasha Banks is already in line for a shot at Asuka's Raw belt.

Elsewhere, Braun Strowman fired out a challenge to Bray Wyatt for what WWE are calling a 'Wyatt Swamp Fight'. This cinematic showcase is likely to headline the show. It's also interesting that Bray never officially accepted the match before WWE confirmed it on their website.

Weirdly, this 'Swamp Fight' looks set to a non-title affair too.

Strowman had previously defended his Universal Title against Wyatt at Money In The Bank, but WWE apparently believe the championship doesn't need to be on the line at Extreme Rules. There's a chance that could be changed on TV before 19 July though.

If nothing else, a non-title match would give WWE an excuse to put Bray over and extend the feud into August's SummerSlam pay-per-view.

Makes sense.
