Former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston recently revealed during an episode of the Feel the Power podcast that he has signed a five-year extension on his current WWE deal. On last night's episode of WWE Backstage, we learned that his New Day pals Big E and Xavier Woods have also put pen to paper on similar new deals.

According to Ryan Satin, speaking on his brilliantly named segment The Satin Sheet, the trio agreed identical terms in the spirit of solidarity. Big E and Kingston are the current SmackDown tag team champions, whilst Woods is currently out of action nursing an Achilles' tear picked up during a tour of Australia.

In addition to the New Day's new contracts, Satin also confirmed that Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford of The Street Profits have reached an agreement on fresh multi-year deals with the company. It's not presently known how long the Raw team's tenure is set to last, though recent precedent suggests five-year contracts for the pair.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
