Carmella is currently "sidelined" from WWE, hence her sudden disappearance from company television despite recently being positioned as Chelsea Green's onscreen partner.

This is according to Fightful Select, who report that there is currently no word on why, exactly, Carmella has been "sidelined." Nonetheless, this is her current status.

When asked about online rumours that Carmella had been pulled from television due to backstage heat, Fightful's sources dismissed the talk as "ridiculous."

Carmella was due to be in Los Angeles, California for WrestleMania 39 week as of Tuesday. The former SmackDown Women's Champion has event commitments with Make A Wish and Be A Star in her calendar, and recently attended an MLB game in the city with fellow WWE stars Bobby Lashley and IYO SKY.

Raw's 6 March episode hosted Carmella's last televised match. In her absence, Green has forged new, temporary alliances with Piper Niven and Sonya Deville, furthering her ongoing storyline in Carmella's absence.

In October, Carmella revealed, sadly, that she had recently suffered an ectopic pregnancy, resulting in a miscarriage. She and fellow WWE star Corey Graves have been married since last April.
