While FTR and the Briscoes put on an utter barn-burner of a match in the main event of ROH Death Before Dishonor last night, there was one moment during said bout which had wrestling fans concerned for Dax Harwood.

After taking a Saito Suplex from Jay Briscoe, Harwood was checked on at ringside by Doc Sampson.

Speaking during the post-PPV media scrum, Dax gave clarified that this was merely a precautionary measure due to certain other issues he's been having lately. In particular, Harwood has been working with a torn labrum, which he suffered during the three-team Forbidden Door contest that saw FTR win the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles.

Via Wrestling Inc., Dax explained:

"It's Saturday, so it depends on the day. I'm dealing with something different every day. Tonight, [Jay Briscoe] gave me a Saito Suplex. That is a very, very dangerous move, landed kind of high. [I] hurt my shoulder a while back at Forbidden Door, and the doctor asked me before the match how I was feeling. I told him the truth."

Harwood continued:

"He said, 'I just want to make sure everything's going to be okay for tonight'. We did all the tests and everything was cool, but as soon as that [Saito Suplex] happened, he just took it upon himself to come to check to make sure the shoulder and the labrum and my neck and everything was cool. I'm okay. I'm okay on Saturday night, ask me tomorrow morning and we'll see."

Hopefully Dax isn't dealing with anything too serious right now, for FTR seemingly have a battle with the Blackpool Combat Club on the horizon.

For those who missed Death Before Dishonor, Dax and Cash's victory over the Briscoes - retaining the ROH Tag Team Titles in a brutal, brilliant two-out-of-three falls contest - was followed by BCC's William Regal, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta appearing on the stage as they set their sights on FTR.

In terms of the Blackpool Combat Club, Death Before Dishonor saw Claudio defeat Jonathan Gresham to become the new ROH World Champion, while Wheeler Yuta fended off the threat of Daniel Garcia to remain as the ROH Pure Champion. Elsewhere, the PPV announced that Bryan Danielson would be back in action this Wednesday - taking on Daniel Garcia on the Fight for the Fallen episode of AEW Dynamite - while this coming week's AEW flagship will see Jon Moxley defend the interim AEW World Championship against Rush.
