Kenny Omega has been cleared to return to AEW, reports the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer.

The former AEW World Champion had been absent from the promotion due to visa issues since 11 January. Fortunately, it sounds like those issues have now been cleared up, allowing Omega to come back to the promotion for tonight's Dynamite in Dayton, Ohio.

Omega's visa issues first came to light last week. Prior to this, Omega and The Young Bucks' Escalera De La Muerte match with Death Triangle (11 January) was reportedly in jeopardy due to visa problems, though there was no word on who, exactly, had been impacted.

Meltzer stated last week that AEW hoped to have Kenny back for tonight's Dynamite, but this was far from a lock at the time. Now, it looks like things have been wrapped up, though Omega unfortunately missed last week's Jay Briscoe tribute episode - a show he wanted to attend.

The Elite captured the AEW World Trios Championships from Death Triangle on 11 January. Top Flight and AR Fox challenge them on last week's Rampage, though AEW is yet to make that bout official.
