Pat McAfee was one of the stars of the show at WWE NXT TakeOver XXX last weekend, entering a hyper-athletic performance against former champion Adam Cole, drawing widespread plaudits on a week that had already seen him cut one of the best heel promos the black and gold brand has seen in years.

Fans are understandably hungry for more from McAfee after his recent performances, though the man himself has now stated he has no further commitments to WWE NXT.

Speaking to ESPN on Monday, Pat said that he is "not under contract to do anything else with Triple H," though he'll likely end up talking to 'The Game' about it following the NXT head honcho's positive comments towards him in the post-TakeOver press conference. McAfee is open to returning in the future.

Triple H called McAfee "a heat magnet and an incredible athlete with a feel for the business."

"We're going to have a conversation," he added.

With his TakeOver performance, McAfee said he wanted to deliver something that showed his respect for the business. He believes he accomplished that, having trained hard for the bout, though he admits he isn't 100% sure what'll happen next.
