Young is yet to enter discussions with the company, BUT...

AEW/WWE

Renee Young spoke out on a number of career-related topics during a recent interview with Jimmy Traina on the Sports Illustrated Media Podcast, including the prospect of joining All Elite Wrestling in the future.

Now going by her real name, Renee Paquette, the ex-WWE broadcaster revealed that there have been no talks between her and the Tony Khan-helmed promotion.

Paquette corroborated Dave Meltzer's recent report suggesting she has a non-compete clause that runs longer than the standard 90-days handed out to WWE wrestlers and stated that while "there could be a ton of spots I could step in and work and do some stuff [in AEW]", it'll be a while before we see her in a professional capacity again.

AEW was an easy destination for wrestling fans to point to when news of Paquette's impending WWE departure broke prior to SummerSlam 2020, primarily on account of her husband, Jon Moxley, the reigning World Champion. Still, it's likely that Paquette will have offers far and above what pro-wrestling can muster once her non-compete expires.

It'll be interesting to see what she does next nonetheless, particularly with networks like ESPN expressing interest in her in the past.
