With the wrestling world still waiting to find out who exactly Ric Flair will be wrestling in the Nature Boy's purported last match ever later this month, we now have somewhat of an update on this matter.

As per the second episode of the documentary series promoting Flair's 'final' match, it's now been confirmed that the two-time WWE Hall of Famer's opponent will be revealed this coming week.

Previously, it was believed that said bout would see Flair teaming with FTR to take on the Rock 'n' Roll Express and A.N. Other in a six-man bout. At one point, Ricky Steamboat was in talks to fill that vacant spot, although those talks ultimately led to nothing - with some reports saying the Dragon had no interest in stepping back in the ring, whilst others claimed Steamboat was asking for too much money.

Of course, another name that's been speculated about as battling Ric Flair one last time, is Hulk Hogan. Thankfully, this merely looks like online scuttlebutt and speculation at this point, with Hogan's plentiful back issues of recent years likely to rule out any future return to the squared circle for the Hulkster.

One interesting caveat for Flair's final battle, is that the Rock 'n' Roll Express are now off the table. Despite those earlier reports of Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson being involved in a six-man bout against Naitch, the updated card for the Ric Flair's Last Match event has Morton and his son Kerry, with Gibson in their corner, going up against Brian Pillman Jr. and Brock Anderson, with Arn Anderson accompanying the second-generation stars to the ring.
