WWE Raw commentator Samoa Joe was recently interviewed by former TNA wrestler Taylor Wilde on her Wilde On podcast, during which the former NXT and United States Champion stated that he is far from finished in the ring.

"Right now, I'm enjoying commentary on Raw," he said, calling the experience a "fun challenge,." Despite this, Joe says he is "not done in the ring by no means."

"I think right now I'm exploring things," Joe added. "I'm doing voice acting which is fun and very cool. It's an enjoyable thing. I have a project coming up with Warner Brothers. I'm very fortunate and very happy that I'm doing the things I'm doing right now."

Joe is well-regarded as a Raw announcer, having first filled the role after suffering a broken thumb in November 2019. He returned to the ring that December, joining Kevin Owens in his feud against Seth Rollins' stable of heels, though he has suffered further injuries since then, including a concussion while filming a WWE commercial earlier this year. In addition, February saw Joe suspended for 30 days for violating WWE's Wellness Policy.

The big man hasn't wrestled since the 10 February episode of Raw.
