One of the most decorated champions in WWE history, Vacant, has just made a triumphant return to the company's official website.

WWE now lists the other half of its NXT Women's Tag Team Champions as "vacant" following Cora Jade's turn on partner Roxanne Perez. This means that Jade calling back to Madusa's infamous 1995 stunt by tossing her title belt into the bin on NXT 2.0 last night was, indeed, a formal vacating of her champion's status, not a mere stunt.

Information on what WWE plans on doing with its NXT Women's Tag Team Championships beyond the short-term is yet to emerge. Jade and Perez had been champions for seven dates when Cora turned on Roxanne during the latter's match with NXT Women's Champion Mandy Rose last week, throwing the belts' future into question. Now, the duo look set to work a singles feud.

Jade cut a heel promo on Perez last night, blasting her partner for focusing more on chasing singles gold than their run as tag champs. She closed by claiming her belt was a lie, then tossing it into the trashcan, ending her reign.

Perez, meanwhile, wasn't on the show.
