This week’s episode of NXT was an absolute belter. And while the four-way main event to crown the new #1 contender for Roderick Strong’s North American Championship will claim the majority of the plaudits, one other intriguing part of a stellar show was the presence of Chelsea Green.

Green appeared following the Mia Yim vs. Kayden Carter match and laid out both competitors, before she was then joined by her new manager Robert Stone - who TNA fans will know as Robbie E.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Green and her longtime partner Deonna Purrazzo had previously been earmarked for a spot on the WWE main roster. With both Green and Purrazzo not being used in NXT, there was talk in recent weeks of moving the duo straight to Raw or SmackDown.

This partly explains why Deona Purrazzo and Chelsea Green have recently made appearances on Raw, but now the pair have been ruled as off limits for any such main roster call-up for the foreseeable future.

It remains to be seen whether Purrazzo will soon surface on NXT TV to join Chelsea as part of The Robert Stone Brand. Likewise, it’s unclear whether Chelsea Green will continue to manage the Outliers tandem of Riddick Moss and Dorian Mak as she has been at non-televised NXT events.
