Updated WrestleMania Backlash Card After Raw - HUGE WWE Title Match Change

Drew McIntyre won't get his one-on-one WWE Title rematch with Bobby Lashley after all.

Braun Strowman has been added to the WWE Title picture at WrestleMania Backlash.

The 'Monster Among Men' beat Drew McIntyre when ex-Retribution members T-Bar and Mace got involved in the match. That victory has now earned Braun a title shot - it also means that the pay-per-view match has been changed to a Triple Threat.

McIntyre won't be getting his one-on-one WrestleMania 37 rematch with Bobby Lashley after all (at least not yet).

Thus far, Bianca Belair defending her SmackDown Women's Title against Bayley is the only other match set for the 16 May show. That'll change quickly, because WWE only has another three rounds of Raw and SmackDown to flesh out the card.

This is the first step for Raw.

WWE's decision here is an interesting one. They obviously believed that interest in Drew vs. Lashley III (they clashed at Backlash last year, and again at 'Mania) would be limited. So, Strowman has been added to freshen things up and give the title bout a new dynamic.

Are you happy that Braun has been added in? Or, would you rather see McIntyre vs. Lashley one-on-one?
