The Miz vs. Seth Rollins is still on...

WWE announced on last night's Raw that Alexa Bliss will get her contractual rematch for the Raw Women's Title against Nia Jax on 6 May at Backlash, and that isn't the only one WWE have planned.

The Miz, despite being drafted to SmackDown as part of the Superstar Shakeup, will still meet Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental Title on the show. It's possible that Rollins could still move to Tuesday nights himself before the end of the Shakeup.

The only other confirmed matches are Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy/Jinder Mahal (depending who wins the United States Title bout at this month's Greatest Royal Rumble event) and Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe. That last one would also be for the Universal Title if Reigns dethroned Lesnar in Saudi Arabia.

Backlash is the first co-branded event outside the 'top four' (Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series) since WWE split Raw and SmackDown again in 2016. Therefore, it's a little easier for the company to explain why matches like Miz vs. Rollins are still happening even if both end up on separate brands following the Shakeup.

Below is the updated card in full.
