WWE's Greatest Royal Rumble took place just four days ago, but the company are already gearing up for their next big pay-per-view, with Backlash 2018 set to take place this Sunday (May 6th).

With single-brand PPVs a thing of the past, WWE are marketing this as the first non-big four show to feature both Raw and SmackDown stars. This isn't entirely accurate, as the company regularly ran Raw/SD combo events during the original brand split era, but the lineup is taking shape nicely.

Six matches were already on deck prior to last night's go-home Raw, with Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley vs. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens added during the show. This came following a six-man tag also featuring Jinder Mahal on the heel side, and Roman Reigns with the babyfaces, in which 'The Monster Among Men' scored the decisive pinfall on KO.
