Updated WWE Elimination Chamber 2022 Card

WWE added a new match to the Elimination Chamber card on this week's SmackDown.

WWE decided to beef out the Elimination Chamber 2022 card by adding another match on this week's bumper SmackDown tapings.

Ronda Rousey will team with Naomi to take on Charlotte Flair and Sonya Deville in Saudi Arabia on 19 February. This, obviously, is a way to amalgamate two big feuds that are currently ongoing, but it's also Ronda's first match since winning the 2022 Royal Rumble.

This could also be her only televised effort before facing Flair for the SmackDown Women's Title at WrestleMania 38 in April too.

WWE will want to keep Rousey's in-ring showings to a minimum pre-'Mania, but they also wanted to add some more star power to the Chamber line up. The match, to be fair, also gives SmackDown's women something to do on the show - Raw's ladies will compete in a cage bout to determine the next challenger for Becky Lynch's title.

Now, Friday night's roster has some spotlight too.

Ronda and Naomi showed solidarity against Charlotte and Sonya on the latest episode. This, it's worth noting, is Rousey's first TV tag match since the 1 April 2019 edition of Raw.
