WWE made several tweaks and changes to the Royal Rumble 2021 card on last night's episode of SmackDown.

The biggest, by quite some margin, was the announcement that Kevin Owens will challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Title in a 'Last Man Standing' match. KO was revealed as part of a contract signing segment with temp-Reigns foe Adam Pearce.

Elsewhere, Jey Uso and Cesaro have both thrown their names into the hat for the men's Rumble match. No new women were confirmed for the other Rumble bout though - expect WWE to start accelerating the pace of these announcements over the next week or so.

Either that or they'll lean heavy on surprises come 31 January.

The full card (other than those Rumbles) currently looks like this:

WWE Title: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Goldberg

Universal Title 'Last Man Standing': Roman Reigns (c) vs. Kevin Owens

It's worth noting that Carmella will probably bag herself another shot at SmackDown Women's Champ Sasha Banks too. WWE will likely also add in the typical Intercontinental, United States and Tag-Team Title bouts to help pad out the card.

Again, they'll confirm those in due course.
