WWE appeared to add a new match to the SummerSlam 2020 line up on last night's episode of SmackDown, although it's important to say that the company hasn't yet made it official.

They will soon though.

Braun Strowman laid out a challenge for Bray Wyatt's 'Fiend' on the pay-per-view after bizarrely saying that he didn't give a toss about on screen pal Alexa Bliss. Despite that regrettable story beat, SmackDown finally has its marquee match for the 23 August pay-per-view.

Other bouts on tap include Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Title, The Street Profits defending their Raw Tag belts against Andrade and Angel Garza, Apollo Crews vs. MVP for the US Title, Seth Rollins vs. Dominik Mysterio and a pair of Women's Title matches.

If Asuka beats Bayley on Monday's episode of Raw, she'll earn a crack at Sasha Banks' Raw Women's Title. Stephanie McMahon also announced on SmackDown that WWE will hold a multi-brand Battle Royal to establish Bayley's next challenger.

Workers from Raw, SmackDown and NXT will be eligible, but no names have been announced just yet. Stay tuned for that.
