The United States Federal Government is attempting to seize the home of former WWE wrestler Ted DiBiase Jr.

This is according to the Associated Press, who have reported on DiBiase's involvement in a scandal also involving a former director of the Mississippi Department of Human Services and others. Ted's brother, Brett, is alleged to have received money intended for state welfare programs for drug abuse classes that never took place.

Later, it was revealed that Ted DiBiase Sr.'s Heart of David Ministries not-for-profit group received $2.1 million from the same source. The WWE Hall-of-Famer was personally paid $84,517 as part of this, with Brett serving as an official for the Mississippi Department of Human Services.

The payments came at a time when the dept. was denying over 98% of welfare applications.

Ted Jr.'s $1.5 million home is in the process of being seized as part of this due to his family connection. The Mississippi Community Education Center had previously paid him to train human services employees. It is reported that he and his wife were less than a week away from finalising the home's sale prior to agents seizing the paperwork, though it should be noted that Ted. Jr., himself, has not been accused of any crime.
