It appears that Vince McMahon is a big fan of sommelier, Nia Jax love interest and recently-possessed talent Reginald.

As per Fightful Select, Vinny Mac is said to be impressed by Reginald’s recent work on WWE programming, ranging from Reggie’s mic work, how he presents himself, and for what the performer has brought to the table when called upon to get physical.

Additionally, Reginald has been praised backstage for how easy he is to work with and for how open he is to any pitches that have been made his way. And let’s face it, the fella would have to have been extremely open to welcome some of the storylines already put in front of him during his relatively short time on WWE television.

With a background with Cirque du Soleil, the real-life Sidney Bateman formally signed with WWE in January 2020. Initially dubbed Akeem Young, that name was soon changed up to Reginald Thomas before becoming simply Reginald when the acrobatic star made his main roster bow alongside Carmella towards the end of last year.

As the weeks have gone on, Reginald has found himself becoming more and more a part of WWE programming – as seen by his current romance with Nia Jax and by him being possessed by Alexa Bliss on this week’s episode of Raw.
