Vince McMahon Named In Donald Trump's US Economic Revival Group
WWE Chairman named as part of plans to revive the American economy.
President Donald Trump has named a list of American sports industry leaders who will form a group designed to help bring the US economy back to life amidst the ongoing global health crisis.
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is part of this Great American Economic Revival Industry Group," as is the UFC's Dana White. Other influential figures include MLB's Rob Manfred, the NFL's Roger Goodell, Don Garber of MLS, plus representatives from the PGA, NHL, NASCAR, and more.
As well as sports leaders, the group also includes leaders from agriculture, food and beverage production, healthcare, banking, and a number of other key industries.
Trump, a WWE Hall of Famer, issued the following statement:-
"These bipartisan groups of American leaders will work together with the White House to chart the path forward toward a future of unparalleled American prosperity. The health and wealth of America is the primary goal, and these groups will produce a more independent, self-sufficient, and resilient Nation."
McMahon had previously been part of a conference call conducted by Trump over WrestleMania 36 weekend, during which he stated his hope that live crowds will return to American sporting events by August or September.
